According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics more than four million people quit their jobs in industry in January 2022, including 322,000 from manufacturing. During this free lunch and learn session, employers will gain insight into things they can implement right away to attract and retain quality talent.

Those interested in becoming a choice employer, and who want to reduce the turnover blues, are encouraged to attend a free lunch and learn session being hosted by the Manufacturing Extension Partnership at The Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental. Participants will learn about the trifecta of avoiding turnover in the workplace including leadership skills, mental health considerations, and examining the return on investment of mentoring.

Presenters Brad Hollingsworth, Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Registered Professional Engineer of Hollingsworth Consulting, and Dee Ann Stricklett, a John Maxwell Certified Trainer and Certified Resilient Building Leadership Certification Trainer, will facilitate this hands-on, interactive session.

The free lunch and learn will be held on Wednesday, September 28, from 12 to 1 p.m. at The Ohio State University Endeavor Center located at 1864 Shyville Road in Piketon.
