Innovation Integration at the Zanesville Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, May 4, is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.

The interactive workshop was designed to introduce participants to specific tools and systems that make it simple to “get outside the box” and spark new ideas and creativity while addressing day-to-day operations that can cause complacency.

“We wanted those who registered to identify a workplace or organization problem to bring with them,” said Hollingsworth. “This helps participants gain a real-world understanding of innovation culture and its role in change management as well as how to innovate to solve problems.”

Participants develop Voice of the Customer skills to inform and guide innovation in an organization. They also develop an understanding of the importance of identifying and utilizing metrics that create a culture of innovation, support innovative thinking, and drive efficiencies and growth.

During the session, participants experience the value of using the Lean Six Sigma Innovation Checklist and create solutions to their problem and its root cause(s) utilizing the TRIZ and SCAMPER models. They actuate inventive principles and contradiction and proven brainstorming techniques, as well as appreciate the benefits of copying, transforming, and combining in solving problems.
